Latest News: What's hapenning at LightsDown?

On 12th December 2009, a number of students from LightsDown Ludlow travelled to London to see the brand-new hit musical, "Sister Act" at the London Palladium. We had a great day and look forward to organising future theatre trips. We've also been to see our Patron, Kerry Ellis, in Wicked before.

LightsDown's very first Dance Troupe has been launched at LightsDown Ludlow. Run by professional choreographer, Louise Flitney, who also teaches for our main academies. The Dance Troupe is for students aged over 12, who already attend LightsDown classes but want to really improve their dance ability.

They are currently working on a Michael Jackson tribute show which features a whole variety of dance styles (including street, hip-hop, contemporary, modern and jazz). Look out for our show towards the end of the summer term!

One of James' private singing students has landed a dream role in the West End production of 'Oliver!' Congratulations and best of luck, Scott!
