Kerry EllisOur Patron - Kerry Ellis

We are lucky enough to have the support of Kerry Ellis, a fantastic Musical Theatre star who has performed in the West End and recently made her Broadway debut in New York.

Kerry trained at Laine Theatre Arts. Kerry Ellis is currently playing Nancy in the London production of Oliver. Before this, she won critical acclaim for her performance of "Elphaba" in Wicked (both in London and on Broadway). She most recently played 'Fantine' in Boubill and Schonberg's musical Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre and 'Ellen' in the national tour of Miss Saigon. Kerry created the role of 'Meat' in the original London cast of the Queen/Ben Elton musical We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre and took part in the Queen's Golden Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace.

In 2001, Kerry understudied the role of 'Eliza Dolittle' in Trever Nunn's production of Lemer & Loewe's My Fair Lady at the National Theatre and Drury Land, playing the role opposite Jonathan Pryce on many occasions.

Other credits include the national tour of Magic of the Musicals and 'Mary' in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Recent workshops include Way Beyond Blue, written by Imogen Stubbs and directed by Trevor Nunn, and the title role in Helen Of Troy, directed by Gary Griffin. Recordings: released the single No One But You (Queen & Kerry Ellis)
